JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, CA is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The anniversary also marks the end of a $25 million renovation which included changes to the resort's 884 guestrooms and suites, the addition of new dining options including Rockwood Grill, Blue Star Lounge and Fisherman’s Landing, a facelift of the resort’s two championship golf courses, and the addition of new retail outlets, Desert Shades, Wallet World, and Sunnylands Chocolate Factory. The resort boasts an award-winning 32,000-square-foot spa and recreation facilities that include two Ted Robinson championship golf courses, an 18-hole putting course, 20 tennis courts, basketball courts, lawn croquet and biking.
