Banyan Tree Chongqing Beibei is set to open later this summer as the first international hot spring resort. The will be comprised of 48 Hot Spring Retreats and 59 Hot Spring Villas, giving guests the opportunity to experience the North Hot Spring water in the privacy of their own rooms. The resort will reflect the start of the Minguo era with an open bamboo-lined courtyard and foyers, tradition dark wood furnishings and multi-story folk houses. Banyan Tree Chongqing Beibei will also feature the Banyan Tree Spa, complete with new innovations and seven indoor and outdoor hot spring pools. Elsewhere on the property will be gourmet dining options that will feature the delicacies of the region as well as a relaxing cigar lounge, fully stocked with fine Cuban cigars. Banyan Tree’s private healing pools will be a first among their Western China properties, supporting their devotion to combining the best of nature and culture.
