Swissôtel Hotels are opening in China, India and Russia and now the luxury chain has announced that they will also be expanding into Bangladesh in 2018. The Swissôtel Dhaka will open in the new Business District of Gulshan. It will include 375 spacious guestrooms and suites, six restaurants and bars as well as a Pürovel spa with a swimming pool, meeting and ballrooms. A proposed underground train connection will also provide guests with convenient access to the hotel.

“Dhaka is experiencing sustainable growth, particularly in the financial and textile manufacturing sectors, but also in telecommunications and service industries which has resulted in strong demand for high quality hotel accommodation,” said Meinhard Huck, President Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts.
