The new Mainport, a Design Hotel, opened its doors in Rotterdam this May inside a futuristic and modern building. Mainport reflects Rotterdam's international and Dutch influences with the use of the best cuisines, spa traditions and designs from around the world. Designed by Feran Thomassen, the interiors include inspirations from many different continents and lavish amenities like luxurious marble bathrooms, impressive fireplaces and panoramic views. Throughout the hotel, the focus is on wellness, from guestrooms with in-room spa facilities including walk-in showers, anti-fog mirrors and a whirlpool. Some rooms include upgraded options like a Jacuzzi tub and Finnish sauna. Elsewhere on the property, guests can find Australian-inspired dining options and a luxurious spa with East meets West treatments.
