Photo Courtesy of Beau-Rivage Palace Beau-Rivage Palace, a luxury destination in Lausanne, Switzerland for the past 150 years has recently undergone a major transformation under the guidance ofinterior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon and inspired by views of Lake Geneva. The second phase of the $28 million renovation will renovate 61 more guestrooms. The first phase added two new suites, one a fifth-floor duplex with two exquisite bedrooms and the second a master-spa suite with 180-degree views of the French Alps. Guests staying in the spa suite can utilize in-room treatments from the Beau-Rivage Palace's lavish Cinq Mondes Spa. The transformation also focused on making the bathrooms light, bright and spacious. Some will also include views of sparkling Lake Geneva. Special touches like light intensity and electronic control of temperature — according to how many people are in the room — have become part of the upgrade as well.
