During the tropical fruit's peak season, Executive Chef Manuel Peruyero has crafted a menu entirely devoted to the mango — from appetizers and entrees to desserts and cocktails — as part of the resort's Mango Festival. Ten masterful mango-infused cocktails will be featured like Mango Mania, a tequila, mango, banana, papaya, and rum concoction and Yellow Sea, made with rum, mangos and Mexican chili. All of the mangos used are sourced locally and Peruyero explains that not only are mangos tasty, they are also very good for you. The sweet treats are filled with vitamins and antioxidants, which make them perfect for Westin’s SuperFoods Rx program. And if you can't get enough mango, The Westin, Los Cabos even has recipes and other mango-devotions on its Facebook page.
