Photo Courtesy of Fontainebleau Miami Beach One of the biggest names in the culinary world continues to grow his brand with the opening of a new restaurant in Miami Beach. This fall, Chef Michael Mina will launch Michael Mina 74 inside the main lobby of the Fontainebleau hotel. The American bistro and lounge is a unique concept for the property, offering an atmosphere and menu that embraces the high-energy of this sexy city. His dishes bring in a variety of global flavors and spices to dishes like Spiny Lobster Spaghetti, 'Jerk’ Quail with foie gras, and Roasted Suckling Pig Cubano style.
“I am delighted to debut Michael Mina 74 at Fontainebleau. It’s truly the perfect balance of delicious food, an upbeat sophisticated ambiance, the magic of Miami Beach and this iconic hotel that will deliver a fantastic dining experience for guests,” said chef Michael Mina.
Many of the plates can easily be shared, including appetizer portions of Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu, Alderwood Smoked Salmon, Kale & Artichoke Caesar Salad, and a customizable shellfish cart featuring local fish selections. After dinner service has completed, the space will turn into a swanky lounge for guests to dance the night away or kick back and relax on cozy leather couches under the warm lighting of charming chandeliers. Award-winning design firm AvroKO is creating a beachside Mediterranean villa vibe with accents of urban street style. Michael Mina 74 is set to open its doors November 2013 and will fit right in with the Fontainebleau family of elegant dining options including Hakkasan, Scarpetta and Gotham Steak.
