CheapHotels.org recently conducted a survey to reveal which U.S. destination is the most expensive for New Year’s Eve. Based on hotel room rates, Miami Beach came out on top among 30 popular cities across the country. Party-goers in the sunny Florida locale can expect to pay at least $360 on the night of December 31, 2013 for the most affordable double room in a three-star hotel.

New York City comes in second at $354 and Charleston, South Carolina at third with a NYE rate of $339. Although Las Vegas landed at number 10 with rooms as low as $215, Sin City has seen the highest percentage increase, with guests spending 367 percent more on New Years Eve than any other day of the year.
