Hotel Overview
Inspired by the timeless beauty of the Atlantic coast, The Oitavos seeks to embrace rather than compete with nature. Its bold design, sleek lines and elegantly simple interiors focus attention outwards - on the historical and natural elements of the surrounding landscape and the drama and romance of the Ocean. The blue of the sea and sky combine with the yellows and greens of the wild flowers and trees to touch your senses, while contemporary sculpture and paintings by Portuguese artists provide an extra flavour.
Accommodations
Superior Rooms - Guest Rooms at The Oitavos feature the quality and amenities expected of a 5-Star hotel experience. All of the standard rooms offer private balconies with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean or The Oitavos Dunes golf course.
Premium Rooms - Premium Rooms are available on all floors and have an area of 64m2. They face South and West offering golf and direct Atlantic Ocean views. Each room has a balcony with 16m2.
Oitavos Suite - The Oitavos Suite has an area of 120m2 and is located at the Southwest end on the top floor of the hotel. This one-bedroom spacious suite features a separate living and dining area as well as an independent washroom. Having the biggest balcony of all suites with 60m2, it offers sweeping and dramatic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the golf.

The Oitavos Hotel will offer three distinct, innovative venues designed to provide a variety of memorable dining experiences.
These include:
- The Ipsylon Restaurant, a fine dining restaurant perfect for celebrating a special occasion or a quiet, romantic evening together.
- The Ipsylon Bar, a comfortable relaxing venue for enjoying the finest cocktails, appetizers, and tapas
- The Atlantico Pool Bar, a true poolside lounge experience
- Les Herbes, an indoor/outdoor dining experience that offers breakfast to hotel guests as well as lunches and dinners to groups on request.
Spa
The Spa at The Oitavos is being developed as a full-service destination spa offering natural and organic treatment products and a holistic approach to wellness. Developed around the energy and drama that is the Atlantic coast, the uniquely contemporary spa experiences will energize the mind, revitalize the body, and soothe the soul.
Golf
The Oitavos Dunes Golf Course, which was designed by Arthur Hills, was developed by Quinta da Marinha and opened in 2001. Since then it has been recognised worldwide as one of the best natural links golf courses, and its sand dunes and ocean environment make playing it, an experience similar to playing links courses in Scotland.
