Many resorts have extraordinary facilities, while others are small and personable. Some are sophisticated; others are casual and relaxing. Some are luxurious; others offer outstanding value. The rarest find of all is the resort that combines all these qualities.
Accommodations
Our 72 spacious suites and guestrooms run along the palm-shaded, white-sand Surf Beach and rise up the rocky promontory that gives the resort its name.
Either right on the sand or just a few steps from it, all our accommodations have breathtaking, gaze-all-day views. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows and verandahs or ground-floor terraces look out over the beach and across the sea to a lush-green headland. At night, the scene is a canopy of stars and the only sound is the rhythm of the waves.
Dining
If our guest questionnaires are anything to go by, the food is one of the biggest reasons our loyal guests keep coming back year after year. Imaginative, varied and simply delicious, it has been praised by culinary magazines from Gourmet to Northeast Flavor. And, especially since all meals are included in the room rate, it's what truly sets our value apart from our competitors.
Spa
Built in 2007, our tranquil and intimate 5,000-square-foot spa sits apart from the rest of the resort just feet from the sea. All four treatment rooms have wide-open views over the water to distant Montserrat, Cades Reef, St. Kitts, Nevis and Redonda. Before their treatments, guests sit outside sipping tea brewed from herbs fresh picked from the spa's own garden. Afterwards, they relax on the open verandah, sitting in the Jacuzzi on the cliff edge and snacking on "Spa Bites" like steamed asparagus, fruit and vegetable kebabs.
Meetings & Events
We can accommodate group bookings from 10 to 72 rooms (note: for bookings over 50 rooms, our All-resort Buyout is the most economical option). Our 20-foot by 20-foot meeting space can seat up to 26 people in air-conditioned comfort. For groups of between 20 and 150 people, we are happy to arrange private functions such as sunset cocktail parties at The Bluff House, beach dinners at our Beach Café and sailing excursions around the island. |
