Part of the National Register of Historic Places, the century-old Historic Federal Courthouse has been artfully transformed into Le Méridien Tampa.
Throughout the hotel, contemporary style complements rich, historic elements. From the elegant Library with its floor-to-ceiling rare Terrazzo Italian marble walls to guest rooms and suites that remain adorned with original architectural highlights, thoughtful touches pay tribute to a rich and honored past.
Accommodations
Each of the hotel's 130 exquisite guest rooms and suites blends historic features with state-of-the-art technology and inviting comforts.
Room types include spacious two-bedroom Executive Suites, Executive Rooms and Deluxe Rooms. All guest accommodations feature large windows, a 42" TV, Wi-Fi and High-Speed Internet Access, refrigerator, individually controlled air conditioning, an in room safe and a contemporary glass shower. Complimentary illy coffee, a selection of four different teas and bottled water are replenished daily. Suites included the added amenity of a Bose® sound system.
Decades ago, what were once judges chambers and courtrooms now serve as guest accommodations, and each one of the hotel's 130 guest rooms and suites is still uniquely different. From select suites with floor-to-ceiling windows and 18 Ft / 5.49 M ceiling heights to rooms with beveled glass on top of the entry doors, these special architectural aspects give guests a refreshingly unique perspective of the building's remarkable history.

Le Méridien Tampa's heritage as a courthouse is particularly evident in its function spaces that historically served as courtrooms, but have now been re-purposed into elegant meeting rooms. The hotel provides more than 4,000 F2 / 371.61 M2 of total event space, all architecturally unique and adorned with many historic elements. Yet every meeting room has been modernized to ensure successful gatherings.
