Hotel Overview
The Hotel Alfonso XIII, conceived with the idea of being the
grandest hotel in Europe, was designed by the Sevillian architect
José Espiau Muñoz, who was a follower of AnÃbal González and
the designer of the 'Monumental' (bullring in the city of Seville),
in order to house the international dignitaries visiting the
Ibero-American Exhibition in 1929.
Characterized by its distinguished Andalusian Regionalist style,
the hotel has been refurbished on several occasions, at all times
maintaining its elegance and tradition, but incorporating new
conveniences to adapt it to the times.
The Hotel Alfonso XIII, a Luxury Collection Hotel, has 151
rooms, divided up into 18 Deluxe Queen, 57 Deluxe Doubles,
57 Gran Deluxe Doubles, 10 Junior Suites, 3 Executive Suites
and the new Torreón and Reales Alcázares Suites and the
splendid Royal Suite.
The guestrooms are decorated in three
different styles, all of them a true reflection of this emblematic
hotel's strong personality: 60 in the Andalusian style where the
beautiful leather headboards and chairs embellished with metal
rivets stand out; 32 in Moorish style with Mudejar interior
decoration and Arabesque plasterwork and 40 Castilian rooms
characterized by their classic, but inviting style, in which
the elegant plaster cornices and their wooden coffering with
Murano glass lamps stand out.

or dinner. The Restaurante San Fernando offers a cuisine that
coincides with its architectural style, offering a detailed menu
