Located close to the city centre and 20 minutes of picturesque drive to the Ranthambhore National Park. Two kilometres away from the railway station. The highlight of taking a trip to Sawai Madhopur is a visit to the Ranthambhore National Park. The park derives its name from the fortress of Ranthambhore and is one of the finest habitats in the world for the tiger. The park is closed from July to September every year due to monsoons. The Sawai Madhopur Lodge, spread over 12 acres, was built in the early 1930's by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II of Jaipur for his hunting trips to the jungle of Ranthambhore, which were the favorite hunting grounds of the royal family of Jaipur. The former hunting lodge has an art deco main block with various facilities for leisure, recreation, and entertainment. gov. in. HOTEL will be unable to make the same on behalf of guests.
Located amidst 12 acres of lush gardens, this 70-year-old hunting lodge exudes a rustic, earthy charm and an air of history. The lodge is a 20-minute drive from the Ranthambore National Park, which is famous for its tiger population. Guests can look forward to well appointed and refurbished 36 rooms including 6 Suites with a private courtyard and 2 Deluxe Suites overlooking the Front Lawns. All guest rooms and suites embody rustic style and comfort.
The lodge is an ideal retreat to host meetings or events in truly novel and natural environs. The conference hall can be used for meetings for up to 35 persons in a U-shaped seating arrangement or 70 persons auditorium-style. Theme parties for 50 to 250 persons can be arranged on the lawns.
All guestrooms and suites embody rustic style and comfort. The spacious, rustic and elegantly designed superior rooms overlooks lush garden and have four fixture bathroom.The room has almost 400 Sq feet of area with a large bed, a small seating area and stylish bathroom with granite flooring , spacious accommodation offering modern day living comfort. These rooms have a predominantly contemporary character with hues of traditional style. |
