Decor is luxurious, with hand-selected European antiques, Italian marble floors and freshly cut flowers. Guestrooms are individually appointed with rich colours and fabrics.
The hotel's fine dining restaurant, Il Palio, is North Carolina's only AAA Four Diamond restaurant. At The Siena, attention to detail is paramount with a high level of personalized service and a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. When we set out to build the Siena, there was one central idea.
Make every room look and feel like a world-class luxury boutique hotel. We could have built more rooms in the same space, but we decided on just 79. Seventy-nine very special, very well-appointed sanctuaries, with space to stretch out, relax and forget the cares of the day. Each room is individually appointed, each with its own décor.
Elaborate gilded mirrors, artwork from European artists with classic style; and, a rarity in today?s world: Hand-carved armories. Each room has a large, handcrafted executive desk with a custom-made leather writing blotter.
The large marble bathroom and vanity will take you back to your last trip abroad; some suites contain circular Roman baths. Open your French doors and look out over the fountain, garden, on to Franklin Street?or a small wooded area behind the Siena.
