Located on the 7th floor, each room is unique in its architecture and décor. Structured into a living room with high-end plasma television sets, dining room, bedroom, two bathrooms, and an elaborate dressing area with three-way full-length mirrors.

Bedecked with antiques, fine marble, wooden carvings, curios and artifacts to match the décor, these suites also boast of an exclusive pantry, extra large bathrooms, large shower cubicle and Jacuzzi.

Offering a variety of choices from home made pastas, to fresh greens and grade A meats, Prego introduces the first authentic and innovative Italian dining experience to Chennai's culinary landscape. The cuisine is an outcome of intensive research through visits to several Michelin star restaurants, vineyards and small towns across Italy by their team of chefs; Chef Hemant Oberoi and Chef Nabhojit Ghosh and Chef Giovanna Marson, a celebrated chef in her own right from Italy. The restaurant specializes in wines and houses more than 75 labels from Italy, as well as an equally impressive collection from across the world.

Centrally located close to the city's prime entertainment and shopping areas, the Taj Coromandel offers 12,000 square feet of conference and reception facilities, plus wireless broadband Internet access, and can host up to 500 for meetings or 1000 for cocktails. The hotel offers a luxurious setting where your guests can enjoy a traditional South Indian evening, complete with Bharatnatyam dances and delicacies.
