Location |
From Albany Airport: Rte. 87 North to Rte. 7 East (Troy, NY). Follow NY 7 East to Route 279 East (Bennington Bypass), which bears left off Route 7 (Do not take Route 9 towards Bennington). Follow Route 279 to the end, then follow signs to Vermont's Route 7 North towards Manchester. Take Route 7 North to Exit 3, turn left onto Rte. 313, then right onto Historic Rte. 7A North and drive 9.1 miles to The Equinox. Approximate time is 1 1/2 hours.

Held by a series of owners and improved over time, there have been 17 major architectural changes in six distinct styles that have taken place through the hotel's history.

British School of Falconry
The British School of Falconry is the nation's first school of its kind to offer hands-on lessons with trained birds of prey. Guests at the Equinox are invited to try one of the world's oldest sports in the beautiful setting of Hildene Meadows and enhance their appreciation of these magnificent birds. During a session, guests will learn to handle and fly Harris hawks. Introductory lessons, "hawk walks" and hunts are all offered to give guests the opportunity to appreciate these amazing animals.
