Entered through improbably tall, luminescent yellow-glass revolving doors-the tallest in London-St Martins Lane's lobby is a soaring and theatrical space that offers a provocative manipulation of dimension and proportion. Starck presents a visually stunning play on scale, with oversized columns and angled niches painted a deep fluorescent yellow, complemented by Portuguese limestone floors. From its acid-etched, double-height yellow glass facade to its unpredictable plays on vivid color to the dramatic series of columns that appear as shining towers, St Martins Lane's lobby is a triumph of color and light.

Philippe Starck?s iconoclastic vision is showcased in this exuberant 1000 square foot space, offering an interactive experience that lifts the spirits and stimulates the senses. Light Bar -The Light Bar is a unique and breathtaking London club that takes the concept of atmospheric lighting to new heights. Guests gather to sip the now famous cocktails, such as Raspassion Martini, Lighten Up Champagne, Strawberry Cheesecake and Lychee and Elderflower Collins, snack on Asia de Cuba delights, chat and people watch in a series of cozy niches that are bathed in warmly vibrant shafts of colored light?pink, orange, violet, and green. The walls are hung with enormous black & white close-up photographs of people making funny expressions, taken by renowned photographer Jean Baptiste Mondino, which lend the Light Bar its bold yet distinctly light-hearted touch.
