Located in the heart of the Vail Valley is the Westin Riverfront Resort and Spa, known for world-class skiing, shopping, dining and other mountain activities. They offer direct access to skiing via the Riverfront Express Gondola out their back door and stunning views of Beaver Creek.
Accommodations
All of their guest rooms feature clean lines, rich fabrics, and a soothing color palette that highlights the Vail Valley scenery through the large, operable windows. Wood floors in the entryway lead into their oversize Traditional Room with two queen size Westin Heavenly Beds®, a Heavenly Bath® with dual Heavenly showerhead to soothe you after a long day on the mountain, a 32-inch flat-screen LCD TV, a recycling bin, and an iHome alarm clock.
Dining
Restaurant Avondale is the third restaurant concept from acclaimed chef/owner Thomas Salamunovich, following Vail's popular Larkspur and Edwards' quick-casual Larkburger. Avondale is a community-oriented dining establishment that welcomes travelers and residents alike. Salamunovich's background includes many of the world's finest restaurants and he credits Wolfgang Puck and Paul Bocuse among his mentors. "Our foremost desire is to create positive memories of your dining experiences with us," says Salamunovich.
Spa
One sublime destination. Three incredible journeys. Signifying "divine offering" in Sanskrit, Spa "Anjali" delights your senses with incredible and mystical excursions that take you to three extraordinary places, abounding in healing traditions uncovered centuries ago. The Himalayan journey transports you to a land far away, where you'll experience unique treatments based on Ayurveda, or "the science of Life," that include Abhyanga Massage and Tibetan Stress Therapy. Skiing
Winter activities take place from Mid-November to Mid-April, depending on snow conditions. For world-class downhill skiing, guests can access Beaver Creek Mountain via the Riverfront Express Gondola outside their back door or via free Beaver Creek shuttles that operate from 7am to 11pm daily. Schedules vary.
Meetings & Events
The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, Avon is proud to introduce The Riverside Ballroom, comprised of 3,800 square feet of meeting space which can be divided into four unique breakout rooms (totaling five, with their separate boardroom). Each room boasts floor to ceiling windows with glorious views of the Eagle River and Beaver Creek Mountain. Right outside the ballroom doors, guests are treated to an additional 4,000 square feet of outdoor event space which includes their 2,000 square-foot wedding lawn. |
