URBAN GARDEN
The James New York, anchoring the southwest corner of Soho at Grand and Thompson Streets, has an artistically-inspired outdoor escape, the multi-tiered Urban Garden located on the exterior level of the second floor. The Garden is an artistic urban oasis featuring sculptures made from recycled and reused materials, and rustic furnishings surrounded by park-like landscaping. This multi-tiered outdoor space is curated by the hotel's horticulturist, award-winning landscape designer Rebecca Cole and provides a lush escape above the city streets.
GUESTROOMS AND SUITES
The James features 114 non-smoking Guestrooms, which include spacious corner rooms with wrap-around views, four one-bedroom suites and one 1300 sq.-ft. Penthouse Loft, located on the 16th floor. Each room includes custom-designed furnishings and thoughtful, guest-centric and environmentally-conscious touches, such as reclaimed wood floors and furnishings; an eco-friendly pillow selection by Keetsa; and rugs made from all-natural fibers. No detail has been overlooked, with mindfully planned features, high ceilings, windows that open outward (a rarity among New York City hotels), easily-accessible electrical outlets; and reading lights embedded in the headboard.

A secret rooftop retreat in Soho, the plunge pool is perfect for basking in the summer sun. It's The James New Yorks' sexiest and most coveted feature. Surrounded by inspiring views of the city skyline, the rooftop boasts a concrete "halo" roof that frames the pool deck, teak decking, an outdoor shower and plush outdoor chaise lounges.

Guests of The James New York can reserve complimentary luxury car service for travel within Manhattan's downtown area. The James New York proudly presents a Hybrid Lexus RX 350H for luxury and comfortable travel anywhere between 14th Street on the north and Wall Street on the south. The service is available Monday through Friday from 7 - 10 a.m. and 4 - 7 p.m. based on availability, cannot be reserved.
