Mexico Boutique Hotels, a full service online hotel collection specializing in extraordinary boutique properties, is helping bookers "travel differently" in 2013. They're launching a series of charitable initiatives where MBH is pledging 5% of their booking revenue, starting with PEACE Mexico’s Alternative School in Punta Mita. The School provides underprivileged youth a place to overcome abusive homes, extreme poverty, no prior education or learning disabilities to help integrate them into the regular school system. “Our member properties are chosen in part because of their desire to give back to their communities, something very dear to us,” said Sylvie Laitre, Director of Mexico Boutique Hotels. “This year we’ve decided to step up those efforts, so we’re putting into place a series of initiatives that will not only have a direct, positive impact on our member hotels’ neighborhoods, but will also allow guests to participate on different levels. We’re starting in Punta Mita with the PEACE Alternative School, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.”
