Reservations are now being accepted to be among the first to see the Loews Regency New York after its $100 million makeover. On January 16, 2014, Park Avenue will welcome back its flagship 379-room Midtown hotel after a year of redesigns. For 50 years, the property has been showing guests Big Apple hospitality through its contemporary aesthetic, well-appointed amenities, and convenient location.
Chairman of Loews Hotels & Resorts, Jonathan Tisch, was at the helm of the project which all began with a remodeled lobby featuring a 24-foot ceiling. Other additions include 328 new luxury apartment-style rooms and 58 suites, the 10,000-square-foot Julien Farel Restore Salon & Spa, an updated fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, and Sant Ambroeus at The Regency, a coffee bar open to guests and locals alike, with an entrance to the public on 61st Street.
Morning regulars will be excited to return to The Regency Bar & Grill for the popular power breakfast menu by culinary partner, Sant Ambroeus. The restaurant will also offer a new cuisine—American dishes using local, seasonal produce along with premier meats and fresh fish. Private dining is also available at The Regency Bar & Grill for parties up to 20, as well as in the four Terrace Suites with views of the city skyline and iconic Park Avenue.
