| Driving directions from Mérida International Airport: Approximate driving time is 45 minutes and distance is 31 miles. Exit airport and turn left at the Campeche-Chetumal exit. After three kilometers, turn left at the Cancun-Motul exit. After two more kilometers take a right at the Campeche exit. You will see the Muna-Uxmal exit on the left after 50 kilometers, but keep following the signs for Campeche. After seven kilometers, go right on the Granada-Hacienda Santa Rosa exit. Pass through Granada then turn right at the sign for Hacienda Santa Rosa. The Hacienda is a kilometer away.

Hotel Overview
The Hacienda Santa Rosa offers the perfect opportunity to encounter the area's natural wonders and Mayan sites. An original 18th century building, surrounded by spectacular grounds. The Hacienda Santa Rosa was nearly 100 years old when the restoration program began. Since the original buildings were still in reasonable shape, the developers changed as little as possible in order to preserve the great character and dignity of the colonial architecture. Rather than squeeze more rooms into the existing structures or add modern extensions, the charming guest quarters were fashioned along the boundaries of existing rooms.
Accommodations
This strategy gave rise to the glorious oversized bathrooms, soaring ceilings - some more than 20 feet high - and enormous, heavy doors that lend so much atmosphere to the amazing rooms and suites. Some original floor tiles also remain, and the rough walls have been repainted in typically Mexican yellows, oranges and blues. In line with the original layout of the Hacienda, the 11 guest rooms are housed in two distinct areas. Adjacent to the main reception areas and restaurant are four rooms, including two junior suites with private, secluded gardens and small plunge pools. On the other side of the fabulous main swimming pool, a further five rooms are fronted by tropical gardens. The three furthermost rooms back onto another area of lawns that features a second, smaller swimming pool whose use is exclusive to occupants of these rooms. The tenth room is the "Cuarto del Patron" - traditionally the quarters of the owner of the Hacienda and is adjacent to the restaurant.
Dining
The Hacienda Santa Rosa's restaurant overlooks a cozy patio. Have your breakfast by the pool, with views of the botanical garden, or in the privacy of your suite's own garden. Enjoy dinner on the terrace of the main house, decorated with candles while overlooking the open sky filled with thousands of stars. Take a close look at the moon and the shining stars through their telescope. The menu proposes a blend of regional and international cuisine.
