On January 19, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company was recognized as “Best Upscale Hotel Brand” during the annual Business Travel Awards in London. The highly-regarded awards event was attended by 1,300 people and celebrates the achievements of the travel industry's leading teams, individuals and businesses within a 12 month period.
Organized by Buying Business Travel magazine, the event was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel and awarded winners in 22 categories. Voting was done by respected senior business travel buyers within an independent panel of judges.

The constantly-evolving company currently operates 87 luxury hotels in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East with plans of opening more than 30 more around the globe. Over the past 18 months, the brand has opened five hotels in exciting business destinations such as Herzliya, Tianjin and Almaty.
