Photo Courtesy of Iceland Naturally From October 10-13, Seattle streets were filled with the traditional cuisine and culture of Iceland as the annual "A Taste of Iceland" festival returned for its fourth year. According to eTurboNews.com, the four-day event is a chance for Seattle natives to experience Nordic life from 3,600 miles away. Bringing the cities closer are direct flights on Icelandair that are available from The Seattle–Tacoma International Airport to the capital city of Reykjavik. One of the festival’s highlights was the free 21+ Reykjavik Calling concert at the Neumos music venue hosted by KEXP 90.3 FM on Saturday, October 12. It featured local bands Kithkin, Vox Mod and Kaylee Cole as well as Sin Fang, Hermigervill, and Borko who flew in all the way from Iceland to make the experience that much more authentic.
