Starting earlier this week, reservations became available for the newest member of the Ritz-Carlton family located in Rancho Mirage. The property opens on May 15 and features 30,000 square feet of meeting space, extraordinary dining opportunities and a two-story spa.
Equipped with the comfort and class that has made the chain so sought-after, The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage, offers a 244-room desert resort that embraces the local culture while offering scenic views of the Coachella Valley and Palm Springs from a 650-foot bluff. To this end, the property incorporates stone, wood and fire throughout the grounds.
Similarly, the inclusion of a seamless feel between indoor and outdoor environments has led to a stylized balance between luxury living and desert life. As noted by the company's Western Region Vice President Chris Gabaldon, "This storied property will deliver a highly sensory respite that is culturally and generationally relevant, offering rich experiences for the leisure and business traveler, alike."
These experiences include amenities like serenity pools, the area's most encompassing spa and cliff-side swimming as well as having access to excellent golf clubs, tennis and polo destinations.
In regards to onsite dining, the two restaurants are looking to provide great atmospheres through unique spaces. The State Fare Bar Kitchen offers up an exhibition kitchen where chefs can be seen preparing orders and entertaining diners. On the other hand, The Edge, a fine steak, seafood and wine restaurant, is perched atop the hotel's bluff and is set to offer sweeping views of the surrounding area. With serious luxury backed by the Ritz-Carlton and some top-tier shopping and activities in Palm Springs as a backdrop, this could quickly become travelers' favorite night's stay in the region.
