Summer travel is getting even sweeter at The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte with the beginning of its Honey Festival. For three months, the luxury resort is paying homage to the 100,000 honeybees which live on the hotel’s green, vegetated roof. The festivities include special events and dining opportunities featuring the golden ingredient, from honey baked breads to beekeeping demonstrations and cooking classes. The honey offerings also extend to The Ritz-Carlton Spa, which has special treatements that utilize the healing power of honey.
