Photo Courtesy of The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis has just completed a $1M renovation to The Lobby Lounge and Bar; it’s new look invites guests to linger a little while longer. Designed around a “Rhythm and Martinis” theme, the look fuses traditional Ritz elegance with modern life. The newly designed space is already becoming a locals favorite, offering light fare, afternoon tea and live entertainment. Of course, a martini menu featuring over 200 variations of popular cocktails, doesn't hurt either. Stunning luxury touches in the renovated area include gold leaf embellishments on the coved ceiling and a luxe-lacquered wall behind the stately mahogany bar. Not to mention the titanium gold granite bar top and vellum front. Also new to the bar are Deco-inspired glass screens, custom made in a region of the Czech Republic with over seven centuries of glass-making tradition. The furnishings have been updated with leather settees, barrel-back lounge chairs, and cocktail tables made of leaf and mahogany.
